About QSUU

The Queer Student Union of Utah (QSUU) was founded in 2026 to meet a very particular moment in our state.

So many queer students (and their allies) have felt at risk of losing their privacy, safety, rights, and more in recent years.

QSUU aims to help change that by advocating for a better campus experience for all! We will be hosting several events throughout the 2026-27 school year to provide students with community, togetherness, and a sense of safety and belonging.

In the wake of some of the campus traditions we held dear (like the amazing Queer Pool Party held every year prior to 2023) ending, we took it into our own hands as students to bring them back.
